CPR
This course is for providers without any or little experience and for those who wish to refresh CPR knowledge.

Detailed course information is discussed followed by instructor demonstration, class practice sessions, class discussion, individual demonstration, and a written test.

 

Participants must:

  • Be able to demonstrate (5) cycles each unassisted: Adult, Infant, and Child CPR
  • Pass a written test (80%)
  • Attend full session to receive certificate
  • Adminster CPR with manikin on the floor

                                                              

 

CPR Express

Express classes are advanced classes for providers with CPR & 1st Aid experience.  Participants will need to demonstrate with manikin and pass written test with minimal instruction.

*note:  You must know compression ratios, be able to demonstrate with manikin, etc.  A complete class will not be instructed. Those unable to complete Xpress course will be directed to the basic CPR /1st Aid class.

All Classes

  1. Wear comfortable clothing.
  2. Remove lipstick/lipgloss.
  3. Reschedule if you are ill with a cold, flu, or have cold sores.
  4. Be prepared to work on the floor.
  5. Be prepared to stay the full session.
  6. CPR is a physical activity that may be difficult.  Check with your physician before participating in a CPR course.
